Any shop that sells sandals with diamonds, rubies or sapphires must take high security measures.

But only one shopping center in the world has taken such strict security measures that it even uses a giant cobra, Telegrafi reports.

In this form, Herrods shopping center has decided to use a snake in a London branch - and the Rene Caovilla sandal, which has rare diamonds, is on display in high security.

The use of the dangerous reptile in 2007 is one of the most extreme security measures that Harrods has used over the years, which will be revealed during a documentary that is being broadcast these days.

Former security chief Ray Wildind has revealed that the sandals are among the most expensive things to go on sale - at the center known for high-spending shoppers - while the only thing that was more the most expensive has ever cost 500 thousand pounds.

"Buyers can simply come at lunch time and after they have eaten they can also buy an emerald necklace that costs 350 pounds," said Wildwind.
